These pictures show the conservatory with a polycarbonate roof before the Equinox roofing system was installed. The customers have chosen to change the roof for a thermally efficient room. With the polycarbonate roof there was glare from the sun, was cold in the winter and too hot in the summer.
Here you can see the process of the roof being installed, you can see the original roof being taken down. The roof is installed with 100mm insulation panels, on the internal view you can see it has a further 50mm of insulation and a 12mm plasterboard ready for a decorative finish.
The completed Equinox roof installed is now ready for use. This roofing system will now keep our happy customers warm in the winter and cool in the summer. There is now no glare from the sun through the roof. And both the external and interior view is now very pleasing on the eye.

There doesn't have to be any compromise on light with additional roof windows that can be installed to keep natural light coming into your conservatory.

The solid tiled roof reduced the noise from any weather such and wind or rain, making your conservatory more comfortable to rest in these conditions. The insulation panels on the Equinox roof system have a low U-value of 0.15. This keeps the heat in and your bills low.
The styling on the outside of the roof can be fitted with premium slate style tiles in a range of different colours to suit your home. The internal style of the roof can be fitted with modern plasterboard or tongue and groove timber ceiling.
